2019 Skylark Pink Belly Rosé

When we produced our first Rose in 2007, we didn’t envision it as part of our long-term production plan, but rather a one-off small bottling that we planned to enjoy with family and friends. How wrong we were! Skylark Pink Belly Rose, one of our most popular wines, is now in its 12 th incarnation, sourced since 2008 from Kurt Ashurst’s Grenache vineyard on the eastern edge of Hopland. The goal here is clear: to produce a dry, fresh Provencal-inspired rose that is simply irresistible. I think we did it again…

Salmon color. Aromatic and perfumed notes of cherry, strawberry, and savory watermelon. The palate blends these fruits of Summer with an electric vein of citrus acidity running through its core. The total composition is endlessly refreshing, juicy and crispy, delivering that flavorful yet light rose experience that is so irreplaceable.

1250 cases produced.
